The psalmist is using the term soul to mean his entire person from the perspective of his spiritual and emotional existence. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [myself] or [my inner being]

The psalmist is speaking of Yahweh as if he were clothed with splendor and majesty. He means that Yahweh possesses splendor and majesty just as a king might wear magnificent robes. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent metaphor from your culture. Alternatively, you could express the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [you are splendid and majestic]

The terms splendor and majesty mean similar things. The psalmist is using the two terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [extreme magnificence]
