BrLXX (PSA 27:8) Κύριος κραταίωμα τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς τῶν σωτηρίων τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ ἐστι.

Here David is speaking of Yahweh as if he were a refuge that provides protection and safety. If this image communicates well in your language, please use it. David is using the adjective anointed as a noun to mean a certain kind of person. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [for his anointed king]
