Here David is speaking of his heart as if it were a person who trusts and exults. The heart represents the center of his emotions and will. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a comparable expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [I trust in him with all my being … therefore I greatly rejoice]
