27.9 Salvum. Ecce quanta spes credentium cum pro eis orat: passus pro eis judex est et advocatus. Et rege, etc. ID. Ne declinent ad prava. Extolle, etc., a terrenis ad petenda æterna, et intellectu Scripturarum, et bono opere per totum hoc sæculum usque in finem.

Here David is speaking of God’s people as if they were his inheritance. David is picturing God’s people as something valuable that belongs to God, like property or possessions that are passed down in a family. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [your own people]
