If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of praise, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [a song that says that our God is great]

David is not using the possessive form our God to indicate that he and his people possess or control Yahweh. Rather David is using these words to indicate that Yahweh is the God whom they worship. Alternate translation: [to the God we worship]
