UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

ט֤וֹב וָחֶ֣סֶד יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי

good and,covenant_loyalty (Some words not found in UHB: surely good and,covenant_loyalty they,will_pursue_me all/each/any/every days_of my_life_of,my and,I_will_return in=house_of YHWH for,length_of days )

If your language does not use abstract nouns for the ideas of goodness and covenant faithfulness, you could express the same ideas in other ways. Alternate translation: [Yahweh will continually show me how good he is and how faithful he is to his covenant]

וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י

(Some words not found in UHB: surely good and,covenant_loyalty they,will_pursue_me all/each/any/every days_of my_life_of,my and,I_will_return in=house_of YHWH for,length_of days )

The Hebrew word that the ULT translates as and I will dwell could be: (1) a contracted form of the Hebrew word that means “dwell,” in which case it should be translated as the ULT does, or (2) a form of the Hebrew word meaning “return.” Alternate translation: [and I will return and go]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י בְּבֵית־יְ֝הוָ֗ה

(Some words not found in UHB: surely good and,covenant_loyalty they,will_pursue_me all/each/any/every days_of my_life_of,my and,I_will_return in=house_of YHWH for,length_of days )

David is using the phrase the house of Yahweh to refer to Yahweh’s tabernacle (tent of meeting), where Yahweh was worshiped, as if it were a house in which Yahweh lived. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and I will dwell in the tabernacle of Yahweh] or [and I will dwell in Yahweh’s sanctuary]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים

for,length_of days

The implication is that David will dwell with God for his entire life. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [for my whole life] or [as long as I live]
