Id est, temporis miserias, quæ nobis per charitatem sunt delectabiles, et per infirmitatem carnis graves. Vino, id est, tribulatione, qua purgatur patiens, ut vulnus vino: Vino, spirituali, unde non vitia, sed compunctio.

59.5 You_showed. AUG. Change because man in/into/on better, etc., until to to_carry adverse until in/into/on the_end. Dura. CASS. That it_is, time miseries, which us through charity are enjoyable, and through weakness of_flesh graves. Vino, that it_is, tribulation, which is_cleaned patient, as wound(n)/injury wine: Vino, spiritual, from_where/who not/no vices, but contrition.

The psalmist is using the adjective difficult as a noun to mean difficult things or hardship. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [difficult things] or [hardship]

The psalmist is speaking of God causing his people to be confused and helpless as if he had made them drink wine that caused staggering. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression from your culture or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [made us confused and helpless]
