Here, House means all the people descended from a particular person. This image envisions them as if they were one household living together. So House of Aaron figuratively means all the people descended from Aaron, the first high priest. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Descendants of Aaron]

The psalmist switches here from the second person exhortation trust in Yahweh to the third person their help and their shield. It is probable that when this psalm was sung, a leader would sing the second person exhortation parts and a chorus would sing the third-person parts of verses 9–11. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate the third person parts as second person. Alternate translation: [your help and your shield]
