71.20 Defecerunt laudes. ID. Etiam hoc diligentius observandum est, quod illud: Defecerunt hymni David filii Jesse, ad finem septuagesimi primi psalmi pertineat. Id vero quod sequitur: Psalmus Asaph, initium sit sequentis. Hymnus tria habet: laudem Dei cum cantico: nisi enim cantetur hilariter, non est hymnus: non cantat autem qui non amat. Si sit laus, et non est Dei, non est hymnus: et si sit Dei, et non cum cantico, non hymnus.
