watch for my life

(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when speak enemies_of,my to=me and,watch_for_of life_of,my conspire together )

It is implied that they are watching for an opportunity to take his life. The euphemism “to take a life” means to kill. Alternate translation: “watch for an opportunity to take my life” or “wait for an opportunity to kill me” (See also: figs-euphemism)
