The psalmist is speaking of the meat as if it were rain that God rained down on the people. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent comparison or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [He caused meat to fall on them in great abundance] or [He gave them a huge amount of meat]

The psalmist is using the possessive form to describe birds that are characterized by having wings. If a speaker of your language would not use the possessive form for this, you could express this idea in another way. Alternate translation: [winged birds] or [flying birds]
