44.11 Listen, daughter. CASS. Praise brides more_humble, but fourfold, from form, from glory, away young_persons, from offspring. AUG. Listen, daughter. Addresses(v) Prophet the_queen, as_if one from/about to_the_fathers. Jews they_saw and they_killed, you(sg) listen the_Gospel, and by_believing you_will_see God: this/here through image, in/into/on future through appearance. These two phrases mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could combine them and express the emphasis in another way. Another approach would be to connect the phrases with a word that shows that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. See how you as a team have decided to translate the parallel phrases in the Psalms, and do that here and throughout this psalm. The psalmist is addressing the bride with the courteous and gentle expression that wise older people in this culture used to address young people whom they were teaching. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation. Alternate translation: [young lady]

The psalmist is speaking as if he wants the bride physically to incline her ear, that is, to lean over the way someone would do to pay close attention to someone. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and pay close attention]
