7.17 Convertetur dolor, etc. Caput, anima, vertex, ratio: cui dominantur peccata, et supersunt: et superdescendent cum in pœnas detrudent.

7.17 Will_be_converted pain, etc. The_head, soul, vertex, ratio: to_whom they_dominate sins, and they_are_left_over: and they_will_descend_upon when/with in/into/on punishments they_will_thrust_down.

Here, trouble and violence are spoken of as if they hit a person’s head or fall down on it. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a comparable expression in your translation or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [His own destructive plans destroy him, for his violence attacks him] or [When he plans to trouble others, others trouble him; when he attacks others, others attack him]
