Here David is speaking as if his enemies’ plans to harm him were a net that they had hidden to trap him. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Rescue me from being harmed by the plans that they have secretly made to harm me] or [Rescue me from the ambush that they have secretly set for me]

Here the Hebrew verb that the ULT translates as You will pull me could be: (1) expressing something that will happen in the future as in the ULT or (2) a request that is a prayer to Yahweh. (This option is less likely since David does not use the imperative form of this verb as would be expected if this was a request.) Alternate translation: [Please pull me] or [Pull me]

Here David is speaking of Yahweh as if he were a refuge, a physical place of safety and protection from danger. If this image communicates well in your language, please use it. If not, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [you are my protector] or [you keep me safe]
