Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. The OET segments on this page are still very early looks into the unfinished texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

Ps 44 This national lament after defeat in battle continues the tone of the previous two psalms, including reflecting on an unspecified moment in Israel’s history and calling on God for salvation. The people recite God’s past acts of rescue (44:1-3), acknowledge God’s power to save (44:4-8), describe their humiliation in exile (44:9-16), claim their innocence and lament the injustice of their current situation (44:17-22), and cry for vindication (44:23-26).

כָּל־זֹ֣את
(Some words not found in UHB: because_of,taunts taunter and, reviler from=face/in_front_of enemy and, avenger )
The author assumes that his readers will understand that All of these things refers to everything that the author has described since 44:9. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “All of the things I have just spoken about”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
וְלֹ֣א שְׁכַחֲנ֑וּךָ וְלֹֽא־שִׁ֝קַּ֗רְנוּ בִּבְרִיתֶֽךָ
(Some words not found in UHB: because_of,taunts taunter and, reviler from=face/in_front_of enemy and, avenger )
These two phrases mean basically the same thing. Translate them according to the decisions your team has made regarding translating parallelism in Hebrew poetry. See the book introduction for more information. Alternate translation: “We have not forgotten you, and we likewise have not dealt falsely with your covenant” or “We have not stopped being faithful to you”
