BrLXX (PSA 17:18) Ῥύσεταί με ἐξ ἐχθρῶν μου δυνατῶν, καὶ ἐκ τῶν μισούντων με, ὅτι ἐστερεώθησαν ὑπὲρ ἐμέ.

17.18 De inimicis meis. AUG. Id est, vitiis, quæ super omnes inimicos plus nocent. Et ab his qui, etc. Id est exterioribus inimicis hominibus, scilicet et dæmonibus quod necesse est, quia confortati secundum quid. Ecce prævenerunt, id est, prævaluerunt. Per hoc magis eripit, quia illi sunt confortati; cum enim affligitur Ecclesia, magis crescit.

17.18 From/About enemies mine. AUG. That it_is, vices/defects, which over everyone enemies plus they_harm. And away his who, etc. That it_is exteriors enemies to_humans, namely and demons that necessary it_is, because strengthened after/second quid. Behold they_prevented, that it_is, they_prevailed. Through this more rescues, because them are strengthened; when/with because is_afflicted Assembly/Church, more grows.
