OET 1Th 3:9-13

9We’re not able to repay God for the thankfulness that we have about you, because we are certainly thrilled in God’s presence because of you all.

10Day and night we’re strongly requesting God that we’ll be able to go and see you all again, and to teach anything that’s lacking in your faith, 11and that God our father himself and our master Yeshua might show us how we could get to you all.

12May the master increase your numbers and give you all an excess of love towards each other and toward everyone, just like we also have toward all of you, 13in order to strengthen your faith and make you blameless and spotless before our father God, when our master Yeshua comes with all his holy people. May it be so.

9For/Because what thanksgiving we_are_being_able to_the to_god to_repay concerning you_all, because/for all the joy that we_are_rejoicing because_of you_all, before the god of_us.
10Night and day, beyond_exceedingly beseeching in_order that to_see of_you_all the face, and to_prepare the lacking things in_the faith of_you_all?
11And himself the god and father of_us, and the master of_us, Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), might_direct the way of_us to you_all.
12And you_all the master might_be_plentiful and might_be_plentiful the in_love toward one_another, and toward all, just_as also we toward you_all, 13in_order that to_strengthen of_you_all the hearts, blameless in holiness before the god and father of_us, at the coming of_the master of_us, Yaʸsous, with all the holy ones of_him.
Truly.

OET Luke 21:25-36

21:1 The return of humanity’s child

(Mark 13:24-27, Mat. 24:29-31)

25[ref]There’ll be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and anguish in countries around the world as they’re puzzled by the noise of the sea and surf. 26People will faint from fear and worry about what’s happening to the planet, because the powers in the universe[fn] will be shaken. 27[ref]Then they’ll see humanity’s child coming down in a cloud with power and great brightness. 28But when these things start to happen, stand straight and look upwards, because your new lives of freedom will be about to begin.

21:29 Recognising the end by the season

(Mark 13:28-31, Mat. 24:32-35)

29Then he told them a parable: “Watch the fig tree and all the trees. 30Whenever you see shoots start appearing, you know that summer is not far away. 31Similarly when you all see those things starting to happen, you will know that God’s kingdom is close.

32I can assure you all that that generation certainly won’t pass away until all those events come to an end. 33The sky and the earth will pass away, but my statements will certainly not pass away.

21:34 Stay alert and pray

34Watch your own lives in case you end up focused on partying and drunkenness and day-to-day living, because then that sudden end might snap on you 35like an animal trap, because it will hit everyone all over the planet. 36No matter what the season, stay alert, asking God that you’ll all have the strength to escape all those things going to happen, and at the end to be able to stand in front of humanity’s child.

21:26 This could possibly be referring to a shake-up of spiritual powers, but more likely refers to the physical universe from our moon and solar system outwards.

25And there_will_be signs in the_sun, and moon, and stars, and anguish of_nations on the earth, with perplexity of_the_sound of_the_sea and surf, 26people fainting from fear and expectation of_the things coming_over to_the inhabited_world, because/for the powers of_the heavens will_be_being_shaken.
27And then they_will_be_seeing the son of_ the _Man, coming in a_cloud with power and great glory.
28But these things beginning to_be_becoming, straighten_up and lift_up the heads of_you_all, because the redemption of_you_all is_nearing.
29And he_said parable to_them:
Watch the fig_tree and all the trees,
30whenever they_may_put_forward already, seeing them for yourselves, you_all_are_knowing that already the summer is near.
31Thus also you_all, whenever you_all_may_see these things becoming, be_knowing that the kingdom of_ the _god is near.
32Truly, I_am_saying to_you_all that by_no_means may_ not _pass_away the this generation, until wishfully all things may_become.
33The heaven and the earth will_be_passing_away, but the messages of_me by_no_means will_ not _be_passing_away.
34And be_taking_heed to_yourselves, lest the hearts of_you_all may_be_weighed_down with dissipation, and drunkenness, and worries of_living, and that sudden the day may_approach on you_all 35as a_snare, because/for it_will_be_coming_in on all the ones sitting on the_face of_all the earth.
36Be_watching and at every season, beseeching that you_all_may_prevail to_escape all these things which going to_be_becoming, and to_be_stood before the son of_ the _Man.

OET Mal 3:1-4

3“Listen, I’m about to send my messenger and he’ll prepare the path ahead of me. Then the master who you’re all looking for will suddenly come to his temple, yes, the messenger who you are all happy about—the party to the agreement—he’ll come,” says army-commander Yahweh.[ref] 2But who could survive it when he comes? Who can stand when he appears, because he’ll be like the refiner’s fire and like the cleaners’ powerful soap?[ref] 3Yahweh will act as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify Levi’s descendants the priestsyes, he’ll refine you all with fire like gold and silver, and you’ll bring offerings to him that are acceptable. 4After that, the offerings of the people of Yudah and Yerushalem will be pleasing to Yahweh, as in ancient times, and as in previous years.

3See_I [am]_about_to_send messenger_my and_prepare a_way before_face/front_me and_suddenly he_will_come to temple_his the_master whom you_all [are]_seeking and_messenger the_covenant whom you_all [are]_delighting there [he_is]_about_to_come he_says YHWH of_hosts.

OET Luke 1:67-79

1:1 Zacharias’ prophecy about Yohan

67Then the boy’s father, Zacharias, became filled with the holy spirit and prophesied,

68Blessed is the master, the god of Israel,

because he visited us and made a way for his people to be freed from slavery.

69He brought us a voice that would lead to our salvation,

us citizens of the nation of King David, his servant

70(as he spoke via the mouths of his holy prophets through the ages).

71He saved us from our enemies,

and from the power of all the ones hating us,

72to show mercy to our ancestors

and to remind them of his holy agreement,

73that he had promised Abraham, our ancestor, that he would give us.

74He rescued us from the power of our enemies,

so we could serve him without fear,

75committed to obeying him

for the rest of our lives.

76[ref]And you too my little child, will be called a prophet of the highest one—

going before the master to prepare his paths,

77to give knowledge about salvation to his people

so their sins can be forgiven

78because God has compassion on us and mercy.

Thus the light from heaven will visit us

79[ref]to shine on those in darkness and sitting in the shadow of death;

to guide us onto the road of peace.”

67And Zaⱪarias the father of_him, was_filled with_the_ holy _spirit and prophesied saying, 68Blessed is the_master the god of_ the _Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl), because he_visited and established redemption for_the people of_him, 69and raised a_horn of_salvation for_us, in the_house of_Dawid/(Dāvid), the_servant of_him, 70(as he_spoke by mouth the holy prophets of_him of the_age), 71salvation from of_the_enemies of_us, and from the_hand of_all the ones hating us, 72to_perform mercy with the fathers of_us, and to_be_reminded of_the_ holy _covenant of_him, 73the_oath which he_swore to Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām), the father of_us, which to_give to_us 74having_been_rescued out_of the_hand of_^our_enemies, to_be_ fearlessly, _serving unto_him 75in devoutness and righteousness before him, for_all the days of_us.
76And you also, little_child, will_be_being_called the_prophet of_the_highest:
for you_will_be_going_before before the_master to_prepare the_ways of_him,
77which to_give knowledge of_salvation to_the people of_him, in forgiveness of_sins of_them, 78because_of the_compassions of_the_mercy of_god of_us, in which the_rising from height will_be_visiting us, 79to_shine_upon upon_the ones in darkness and sitting in_the_shadow of_death, which to_direct the feet of_us into the_way of_peace.

OET Php 1:3-11

1:1 Paul’s thanking and praying

3I thank my God every time that I hear you mentioned 4and every time that I pray for you all, I’m always glad when I make my requests 5because the good message united us in fellowship from the first day until now. 6I’m sure of this: that the one who started a good work in you all will ensure that it’s continued through to the day of the return of Messiah Yeshua. 7It’s right for me to be thinking this about you because I have you all in my heart. You received grace along with me so whether I’m in chains or defending and confirming the good message, we are fellow recipients. 8God is my witness that I long for you with all the compassions of Messiah Yeshua.

9And this is what I’m praying: that your love would grow more and more with knowledge and all insight 10so that you all will approve what’s of value and so remain sincere and blameless until Messiah returns, 11having been filled with the fruit of righteousness through Yeshua Messiah, honouring and praising God.

3I_am_giving_thanks to_the god of_me on every the mentioning of_you_all, 4always in every petition of_me for all of_you, with joy the petition making, 5for the fellowship of_you_all in the good_message, from the first day until the time now, 6having_persuaded same thing this, that the one having_begun in you_all a_work good, will_be_accomplishing it until the_day of_chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous, 7as it_is right for_me this to_be_thinking about all of_you, because_of that to_be_having me in my heart you_all, in both the bonds of_me, and in the defense and confirmation of_the good_message, fellow-partakers with_me of_the grace all you_all being.
8For/Because witness of_me the god is, how I_am_longing_for all you_all in the_compassions of_chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).
9And this I_am_praying, that the love of_you_all still more and more may_be_being_plentiful in knowledge and all insight, 10in_order that to_be_approving you_all the things carrying_value, in_order_that you_all_may_be sincere and inoffensive to the_day of_chosen_one/messiah, 11having_been_filled with_the_fruit of_righteousness which through Yaʸsous chosen_one/messiah, to the_glory and praise of_god.

OET Luke 3:1-6

3:1 Yohan-the-immerser’s preaching

(Yhn 1:19-28, Mark 1:1-8, Mat. 3:1-12)

3It was the fifteenth year of the rule of Caesar Tiberius when Pontius Pilate was the governor of Yudea and Herod was the ruler of the Galilean quarter. His brother Philip was the ruler of the Iturean quarter and of the region of Traconitis, and Lysanias was the ruler of the Abilene quarter. 2Annas and Caiaphas were the high priests in Yerushalem, and this was the time when Yohan (son of Zechariah) began preaching God’s message in the wilderness. 3He went around all the areas surrounding the Yordan River, telling the people that they could get immersed in water as a sign they were turning away from disobeying God and requesting forgiveness 4[ref]just like the prophet Isayah had written:

‘The voice shouting in the wilderness

prepare Yahweh’s road,

make his paths straight.

5Every valley will be filled up,

and every mountain and hill will be levelled off.

What’s crooked will be made straight,

and the rough roads will be made smooth.

6and everybody will see God’s salvation.’

3:4-6: Isa 40:3-5 (LXX).

3And in the_ fifteenth _year of_the government of_Tiberios Kaisar, Pontios Pilatos was governing of_ the _Youdaia, and Haʸrōdaʸs being_quarter_ruler of_ the _Galilaia/(Gālīl), And Filippos the brother of_him being_quarter_ruler of_ the _Itouraios and Traⱪōnitis region, and Lusanios the being_quarter_ruler of_Abilaʸnaʸ, 2during the_chief_priest of_Annas and Kaiafas, the_message of_god became on Yōannaʸs, the of_Zaⱪarias son, in the wilderness.
3And he_came into all the_surrounding_region of_the Yordanaʸs/(Yardēn), proclaiming a_immersion of_repentance for forgiveness of_sins, 4as it_has_been_written in the_scroll of_the_messages of_Aʸsaias/(Yəshaˊyāh) the prophet:
The_voice shouting in the wilderness prepare the way of_the_master, be_making the paths of_him straight.
5Every valley will_be_being_filled, and every mountain and hill will_be_being_brought_low, and the crooked will_be into straight, and the rough ways into smooth, 6and all flesh will_be_seeing the salvation of_ the _god.

4Always be happy in the master. I’ll say that again: be happy. 5Let your gentleness be visible to everyone. The master is close. 6Don’t worry about anything, but handle all situations by letting God know your requests—praying and telling God your needs, and also thanking him. 7Then God’s peace which is above human understanding will guard your hearts and your thinking in Messiah Yeshua.

4Be_rejoicing in the_master always, again I_will_be_saying, be_rejoicing.
5The gentle of_you_all let_be_known to_all people.
The master near.
6Nothing be_worrying, but in everything, the by_prayer and the petition with thanksgiving, the requests of_you_all let_be_being_made_known to the god.
7And the peace of_ the _god which being_above all mind, will_be_guarding the hearts of_you_all and the thinking of_you_all in chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).

OET Luke 3:7-18

7[ref]Because of that, he was telling the crowds that went out there to be immersed by him, “Bunch of snakes! Who warned you all to flee from the severe anger that’s coming? 8[ref]So then start demonstrating the qualities that show you have actually turned from your disobedience. And don’t start by telling me that you’re descendants of Abraham, because I can tell you all that God could make descendants out of these stones here. 9[ref]The axe is already sitting at the base of the trees, so that every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.”

10“What should we do then,” the crowds asked him.

11“If you’ve got two jackets, give one to someone who doesn’t have one,” he replied, “and similarly if you’ve got food.”

12[ref]Even some tax-collectors came to be immersed, and they asked Yohan, “Teacher, what should we do?”

13“Don’t collect any extra on top of what you’ve been told to collect,” he said.

14“And what about us too,” some soldiers inquired.

“Don’t bully people or falsely accuse anyone,” Yohan answered, “and be content with your wages.”

15The people were expecting that the messiah might come to save them and started wondering in their minds if maybe it was Yohan 16but he explained to them all, “I’ve been immersing you all in water, but there’s one coming who’s greater than me, in fact I’m not even worthy to unlace his sandals. He will immerse you all with the holy spirit and with fire. 17He’ll hold the winnowing fork so he can clear out the threshing floor, gathering the wheat into his barn and burning up the chaff with a fire that never goes out.”

18Yohan preached the good message to the people and also encouraged them to change for the better.

7Therefore he_was_saying to_the crowds going_out to_be_immersed by him:
Brood of_vipers, who warned to_you_all to_flee from the coming severe_anger?
8Therefore produce fruits worthy of_ the _repentance, and you_all_may_ not _begin to_be_saying in yourselves, we_are_having the Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) As_father, because/for I_am_saying to_you_all that the god is_able to_raise children to_ the _Abraʼam from the these stones.
9And already also the axe is_lying to the root of_the trees, therefore every tree not producing good fruit, is_being_cut_off and is_being_thrown into the_fire.
10And the crowds were_asking him saying:
Therefore what may_we_do?
11And answering he_was_saying to_them:
The one having two tunics, let_share to_the one not having, and the one having foods, likewise let_be_doing.
12And tax_collectors also came to_be_immersed, and they_said to him:
Teacher, what may_we_do?
13And he said to them:
Be_collecting nothing more beside the thing having_been_directed to_you_all.
14And also the_soldiering ones were_asking him saying:
What may_ we _do also?
And he_said to_them:
You_all_may_accost no_one nor you_all_may_falsely_accuse, and be_being_sufficed for_the wages of_you_all.
15And the people expecting and reasoning all in the hearts of_them concerning the Yōannaʸs, whether he might_be the chosen_one/messiah, 16the Yōannaʸs answered saying to_all:
I on_one_hand am_immersing you_all in_water, on_the_other_hand the one mightier than me is_coming, of_whom not I_am worthy to_untie the strap of_the sandals of_him, he will_be_immersing you_all in the_ holy _spirit, and with_fire,
17of_whom the winnowing_fork is in the hand of_him to_clear_out the threshing_floor of_him, and to_gather_together the wheat into the barn of_him, and he_will_be_burning_up the the_chaff with_ inextinguishable _fire.
18Therefore also exhorting many other things indeed, he_was_good_message_preaching to_the people.

OET Luke 1:39-56

1:1 Maria’s visit to Elizabeth

39Several days later, Maria determined that she’d go to the town in the hills of Yudea 40where Zechariah and Elizabeth lived. She entered the house and greeted Elizabeth, 41and as soon as Elizabeth heard the greeting, her baby in her womb kicked, and she was filled with the holy spirit 42and she called out loudly, “Out of all women, you have been blessed and the baby in your womb has been blessed. 43How could this happen to me—that the mother of my master would come and visit me! 44You see, as soon as I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb kicked with excitement, 45and the woman who believed that everything the master told her will happen, she will be blessed.”

1:46 Maria’s song of praise

46Maria said,

My soul praises the master,

47and my spirit is so happy about God, my saviour,

48[ref]because he noticed his humble servant girl.

Look now, all the future generations will consider that I was blessed

49because the powerful one treated me incredibly,

and his name is holy.

50He shows his mercy to multiple generations;

to those who honour him.

51His arm is powerful;

he scatters those who are proud in their hearts.

52[ref]He knocks kings off their thrones,

and praises those who’re humble.

53Those who’re hungry, he fills with good things,

but those who’re rich, he sends away empty handed.

54He took good care of his servant, Israel,

to be reminded of mercy

55[ref]as he spoke to our ancestors,

to Abraham and his descendants,

at the right time.”

56So Maria stayed with Elizabeth for about three months before returning back to her own home.

39And Maria having_risen_up in the these days, was_gone into the mountainous with earnestness, to a_city of_Youda/(Yəhūdāh), 40and she_came_in into the house of_Zaⱪarias, and greeted the Elisabet.

45And blessed is the woman having_believed that there_will_be a_completion to_the things having_been_spoken to_her from the_master.
46And Maria said:

48Because he_looked_at on the humiliation of_the handmaiden of_him.
For/Because see, from the time now all the generations will_be_counting_ me _blessed.
49Because the powerful one did great things to_me, and the name of_him is holy.
50And the mercy of_him is to generations and generations, to_the ones revering him.
51He_did power with the_arm of_him, the_proud in_the_mind of_heart of_them he_scattered.

56And Maria/(Miryām) remained with her about three months, and returned to the home of_her.

OET Heb 10:5-10

5That’s why when Yeshua came into the world, he said:[ref]

“You don’t want sacrifice and offering,

but you prepared a body for me.

6You took no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.

7Then I said, ‘Listen, it’s been written about me in the scroll of the scriptures. I have come, God, to do whatever you want.’ ”

8Previously he had said, ‘You don’t want sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and offerings for sin, and you didn’t take pleasure in them,’ even though they’re offered according to the law. 9Then he said, ‘Listen, I’m coming to do whatever you want.’ So he was terminating the first agreement in order to be able to establish the second one. 10By that agreement, we are made holy once-and-for-all through the offering of Yeshua Messiah’s body.

10:5-7: Psa 40:6-8 (LXX).

5Therefore coming_in into the world, he_is_saying:
Sacrifice and offering not you_wanted, but a_body you_prepared for_me.
6Whole_burnt_offerings and sacrifices for sin not you_took_pleasure.
7Then I_said:
Behold, I_am_coming (in the_scroll of_the_scroll it_has_been_written concerning me) which to_do the god the will of_you.
8Earlier saying, that Sacrifices, and offerings, and whole_burnt_offerings, and offerings for sin, neither you_wanted, nor you_took_pleasure (which according_to law are_being_offered), 9then he_has_said:
Behold, I_am_coming which to_do the will of_you.
He_is_killing the first covenant, in_order_that the second he_may_establish.
10By that will, having_been_sanctified we_are through the offering of_the body of_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) chosen_one/messiah once_for_all.

22:1 Yeshua’s return

6Then he said to me, “These messages are faithful and true, and the master, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his messenger out to show his slaves what’s planned to happen soon.”

7“Yes, listen, I’m coming soon. Whoever follows the messages of the prophecy on this scroll will be blessed.”

8I, Yohan, am the one who saw and heard all those things, and when I heard and saw them, I knelt down to worship at the feet of the messenger who showed them to me. 9But he told me, Hey, no! I’m a fellow slave of you and of your brothers the prophets and of the ones who obey the words of this book. Worship God.” 10Then he continued, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. 11Those who disobey God can continue to do so and those who’re filthy can continue to be so, but those who obey God should continue to obey, and those who’re godly should continue to be godly.”[ref]

12(Yeshua says,)Listen, I’m coming back soon, bringing my reward to distribute to each person according to their behaviour.[ref] 13I’m the A and the Z—the first and the last—the beginning and the end.[ref]

14Blessed are those who’re washing their robes so that they’ll have authority over the tree of life (MEANING???) and so that they’ll be able to enter the city through the gates.[ref] 15On the contrary, those outside the city are dogs and sorcerers, the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone loving and exhibiting dishonesty.

16“I, Yeshua, have sent my messenger to explain these things to you concerning the churches. I am both David’s source and his descendant—the bright morning star.”[ref]

17The spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’[ref]

Anyone who hears this should also say, ‘Come.’

Anyone who’s thirsty to live forever should come. Anyone who wants it can take the water that gives life free of charge.

22:18 Farewell

18[ref]I am testifying to everyone who hears the prophecies written in this document: If anyone adds to these words, then God will add to them the plagues written in this document. 19And if anyone takes away any of this prophetic document, then God will take away their share in the tree of life and in the holy city that’s written about in this document.

20The one who testified about these things says: ‘Yes, I’m coming quickly.’

May it be so. Come, master Yeshua.

21May the grace from the master Yeshua be with the godly people.

13I am the first_letter and the last_letter, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
14Blessed are the ones washing the robes of_them, in_order_that it_will_be the right of_them to the tree of_ the _life, and by_the gates they_may_come_in into the city.
15Outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the the_sexually_immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone loving and practicing falsehood.

OET Luke 2:1-20

2:1 Yeshua’s birth in Bethlehem

(Mat. 1:18-25)

2At that time, Caesar Augustus sent a decree that everyone throughout the empire needed to register in a census. 2(This census was conducted when Quirinius was the governor of Syria.) 3Everyone had to officially register in the city where they were born.

4Because Yosef was a descendant of King David, he left the town of Nazareth in the Galilee region and went down to David’s town of Bethlehem in Yudea 5to register along with Maria, his pregnant fiancée. 6While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to give birth 7and so Maria bore her first son and wrapped him in strips of cloth and slept him in an empty feeding trough, because they had missed out on the guest room.

2:8 The shepherds and the messengers

8In that same area, there were some shepherds staying out in the fields where they kept watch over their flocks at night. 9A messenger sent by the master approached them, and the master’s radiance shone around them, and they were very frightened. 10“Don’t be scared,” the messenger told them, “because I’m bringing you a good message that will bring great happiness to all people 11because a saviour for all people was born today in David’s town. He’s the messiah—the master 12and this is how you’ll know him: you’ll find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and sleeping in a feeding trough.”

13Then suddenly lots of heavenly soldiers joined the messenger, praising God and saying, 14“Let all honour be given to God in the highest, and peace on earth to all people along with good will.”

15Then as the messengers left them and went up into the sky, the shepherds said to each other, “Well, we’ll certainly go into Bethlehem so we can see what this was about that Yahweh has let us know about.”

16So they hurried into town and asked around to find Maria and Yosef, and also the baby sleeping in the feeding trough. 17When they met them, the explained what they’d been told about the young baby. 18Everyone who heard this was amazed at what the shepherds told them, 19but Maria treasured all of these messages in her heart and often thought about them. 20Finally the shepherds returned back to their fields—they were worshipping and praising God for what they’d heard and how they’d seen it exactly like they’d been told.

2And it_became in the those days, a_decree came_out from Kaisar Augustus/(Sebastos), all the inhabited_world to_be_registering.
2(This registration first became when_ Kuraʸnios _governing the Suria/(ʼArām).
)
3And all were_going to_be_registering, each to the city of_himself.
4And Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) went_up also, from the Galilaia/(Gālīl) out_of the_city of_Nazaret, to the Youdaia to the_city of_Dawid/(Dāvid), which is_being_called Baʸthleʼem/(Bēyt-leḩem), because_of that him to_be from the_household and family of_Dawid, 5to_register with Maria/(Miryām), which having_been_betrothed to_him, being pregnant.
6And it_became at the time them to_be there, were_fulfilled the days of_the child her to_bear.
7And she_bore the son of_her the firstborn, and swaddled him, and laid him in a_manger, because was not a_place for_them in the guest_room.
8And shepherds were in the the same region, lodging_in_the_fields and keeping watch the by_night over the flock of_them.
9And an_messenger of_the_master approached to_them, and the_glory of_the_master shined_around them, and they_were_afraid with_ great _fear.
10And the messenger said to_them:
Be_ not _fearing, because/for see, I_am_good_message_preaching to_you_all great joy, which will_be to_all the people,
11because today a_saviour was_born to_you_all, who is the_chosen_one/messiah, the_master, in the_city of_Dawid.
12And this is the sign to_you_all:
you_all_will_be_finding a_baby having_been_swaddled, and lying in a_manger.
13And suddenly a_multitude of_the_ heavenly _army became with the messenger, praising the god and saying, 14Glory to_god in the_highest, and peace on earth among humans with_good_pleasure.
15And it_became as the messengers went_away from them into the heaven, the shepherds were_saying to one_another:
We_may_ indeed _pass_through as_far_as Baʸthleʼem/(Bēyt-leḩem), and we_may_see the message this the thing having_become, which the master made_known to_us.
16And came having_hurried, and sought_out the both Maria/(Miryām) and the Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf), and the baby, lying in the manger.
17And having_seen, they_made_known concerning the saying which having_been_spoken to_them, concerning the this little_child.
18And all the ones having_heard, marvelled concerning the things having_been_spoken by the shepherds to them.
19But the Maria was_treasuring all the these messages, considering them in the heart of_her.
20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising the god for all things which they_heard and saw, as was_spoken to them.

3:1 Paul’s assignment to non-Jews

3That’s the reason that I, Paul, am a prisoner due to my serving Yeshua the messiah for you non-Jews. 2Certainly you have heard that God assigned me the task of passing on God’s grace to you. 3He revealed his incredible plan as I wrote briefly previously 4[ref]and which you are all able to read to understand my insight into the incredible plan about the messiah. 5This plan wasn’t explained to humans in previous generations but has now God’s spirit has revealed it to his worthy missionaries and prophets. 6Now non-Jews can have the same inheritance and become members of the same body and can share in the same promise that was the positive message of Yeshua the messiah.

7I have become a servant of that message as a result of the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by means of the working of his power. 8Although I was the least of the ones dedicated to this message, I was given the grace to preach this positive message to the non-Jews, to tell them about the endless riches of the messiah 9and to enlighten everyone about the assignment of God’s incredible plan. God, the one who created everything, hid this plan away over the ages 10so that the wide-ranging wisdom of God could be revealed now through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. 11God did this according to his plan for the ages which he established in our master, Yeshua the messiah. 12It’s through our faith in Yeshua that we can have boldness and confident access to God.

3for_ This _reason_of, I Paulos, the prisoner of_ the _chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous for you_all the pagans, 2if surely you_all_heard the management of_the grace of_ the _god, which having_been_given to_me for you_all, 3by revelation the mystery was_made_known to_me, as I_previously_wrote in few messages, 4to which you_all_are_being_able reading it to_understand the insight of_me in the mystery of_the chosen_one/messiah, 5which in_other generations not was_made_known to_the sons of_ the _men, as now was_revealed to_the holy ambassadors of_him and prophets in the_spirit, 6the pagans to_be fellow-heirs, and a_fellow-body_members, and fellow-partakers, of_the promise in chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous, through the good_message, 7of_which I_was_become a_servant according_to the gift of_the grace of_ the _god which having_been_given to_me, according_to the working of_the power of_him.
8To_me, the very_least of_all the_holy ones, the this grace was_given, to_the pagans to_good_message_preach the untraceable riches of_the chosen_one/messiah, 9and to_enlighten all, what is the management of_the mystery, which having_been_hidden_away from the ages in the god, the one having_created all the things, 10in_order_that may_be_made_known now to_the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms through the assembly, the manifold wisdom of_ the _god, 11according_to the_purpose of_the ages, which he_established in the chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), the master of_us, 12in whom we_are_having the boldness and access in confidence by the faith in_him.

2:1 Easterners come to worship the new king

2After Yeshua had been born in Bethlehem in the province of Yudea during the time of King Herod, watchers of signs arrived in Yerushalem from the east 2and asked, “Where is the one born as king of the Jews, because we saw his star in the east and we came to worship him.”

3Now when King Herod heard this, he was upset and all of Yerushalem as well. 4He gathered together all of the chief priests and those who teach the religious law to the people and asked them where the Messiah was expected to be born.

5And they told him, “It’ll be in Bethlehem in Yudea because the prophet wrote:[ref]

6‘You Bethlehem in the land of Yudah,

are not the most insignificant of the leaders of Yudah.

For a leader will come from you

who will guide my people Israel.’ ”

7Then Herod sent for the watchers of signs and met secretly with them to determine when the star had first appeared. 8Then he sent them on to Bethlehem with these instructions: “Go on and carefully investigate about the child and when you find him, report back to me so that I can also come and worship him.”

9So when the king had finished speaking, they departed and the star which they could see in the east went ahead of them and stopped above the place where the child was. 10Seeing this, the watchers of signs were very happy indeed. 11As they entered the house, the saw the child with his mother Maria. They bowed low and worshipped him, then they opened their chests and presented gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

12But because they had been warned in a dream not to return to King Herod, they went home again to their own country.

2And the Yaʸsous having_been_born in Baʸthleʼem/(Bēyt-leḩem) of_ the _Youdaia in the_days of_Haʸrōdaʸs the king, see, wise_men from east arrived in Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim) 2saying:
Where is the one, having_been_born king of_the Youdaiōns?
For/Because we_saw the star of_him in the east and we_came to_prostrate before_him.
3And the king Haʸrōdaʸs having_heard was_disturbed, and all Hierousalaʸm with him.
4And having_gathered_together all the chief_priests and scribes of_the people, he_was_inquiring from them where the chosen_one/messiah is_being_born.
5And they said to_him:
In Baʸthleʼem of_ the _Youdaia, because/for thus it_has_been_written through the prophet:
6And you Baʸthleʼem, land of_Youda/(Yəhūdāh), are by_no_means least among the rulers of_Youda, because/for out_of of_you will_be_coming_out a_leading one, who will_be_shepherding the people of_me, the Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl).
7Then Haʸrōdaʸs having_ secretly _called the wise_men, ascertained from them the time of_the appearing star.
8And having_sent them to Baʸthleʼem he_said:
Having_been_gone, search_out exactly for the little_child, and when you_all_may_find him, report to_me so_that also_I, having_come, may_prostrate before_him.
9And which having_heard from_the king, they_were_gone, and see, the star, which they_saw in the east, was_going_before them until having_come, it_was_stood over where the little_child was.
10And having_seen the star, they_were_ exceedingly _elated with_ great _joy.
11And having_come into the house, they_saw the little_child with Maria/(Miryām) the mother of_him, and having_fallen, they_prostrated before_him, and having_opened_up the treasures of_them, they_offered gifts to_him:
gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
12And having_been_warned in a_dream not to_return to Haʸrōdaʸs, they_withdrew by another way into the country of_them.
